Fanny Renois, a researcher at the Swine and Poultry Infectious Diseases Research Center (CRIPA), participated in the collective expertise conducted by the Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire (ANSES) on the theme: "Influenza virus in pig farming: risk of interspecies transmission, surveillance and prevention."
This in-depth study explores the risks associated with the transmission of influenza viruses between species, a major issue for public and veterinary health. Through her research on respiratory diseases in humans and pigs as well as her expertise on airborne transmission, Fanny Renois contributed to key recommendations aimed at improving biosecurity and surveillance in pig farming.
